Thank you to everyone who attended our annual art pub quiz. As usual, it was a fun night with prizes galore...
We also recently enjoyed catching up with all the events we had to reschedule - Artists in Eden Day from March and the Mt Eden Chamber Music Festival (rescheduled from 2021) - as well as hosting Out of Karekare, an exhibition celebrating the artists-in-residence from last year's Karekare House residency programme.
Thanks for joining us at the Auckland Botanic Gardens to enjoy the sculptures!
Our scheduled Walters Prize tour at the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki was unable to go ahead in the Level 4 lockdown but Sue Gardiner kindly stepped in to offer an online Zoom talk instead. Since then we have held another five Zoom sessions on a range of topics from Collections, Connections, Creations and Mark Making to an online Quiz and a Musical Mystery Tour. Thanks to our new Zoom community for joining us each week and for your amazingly positive feedback.
Recently we held a group artist talk and afternoon tea at Karekare House. With thanks to our partners, the Karekare House Trust.
Thank you to all the pub quizzers who supported our Classic Pub Quiz with an Arts Twist in June - what a memorable evening!
Thank you to all who attended our AGM in May.
And to those who came to the 2020 Karekare House artists-in-residence - Exhibition at the Pah - artist talk Sunday 18 April 2.30pm
And our flagship fundraising event on Saturday 20 March.
Here's a little flashback to the wonderfully memorable Eden Arts literary dinner held at the end of 2019 at the exclusive Mantells in Mt Eden Village. This night marked the re-naming of our traditional literary dinner in memory of the late and great Michael Gifkins, literary agent, and also launched a new Eden Arts literary residency at Karekare House made possible by the bequest generously donated to the Eden Arts Trust by the late Eliszabeth Ebbett.
