Thank you to all who came to this wonderful evening of music! Our gala concert evening featured piano, strings, voice - classical to contemporary, opera to original song. Musical delights included pianist Katherine Austin and cellist James Tennant of NZ Chamber Soloists, the APO's James Jin (violin) and Xing Wang (piano), pianist Madeleine Xiao, cellist Kimberley Yuan, singer-songwriter Montgomery and international opera singer Edward Laurenson (star of the recent production of Chess the Musical at the Dame Kiri Te Kawana Theatre in Auckland). The programme ranged from Mozart to Chopin to Schoenberg, and much much more. This was truly a night to treasure!
